ABF News And Events
The First Quarter results are in and the winning team for the quarter is: THE ENFORCERS! Here at ABF, Inc. we have divided our staff into two teams. Both teams compete in company structured events to help boost morale, team productivity and the quality of work for each quarter. There are many categories that each team must excel in to be awarded points to their overall team score. At the end of each quarter, points are added up to see which team receives prizes and recognition for that quarter. At the end of the year the team with the most points along with the counties they support will be named the Team and County of the Year. Awards will be based on the margin of profitability, overall team goals accomplished and the quality of service that have been reached by each team. We are already into the second quarter and it looks like it will be a very close race to the finish!

Outstanding Future Leaders
One of our young Interns “D’Angelo” participated in this year’s competitive events within the organization of Health Occupations Student of America (HOSA). HOSA is a national student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Technology Education Division of ACTE. HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. D’Angelo placed 2nd in Job Seeking Skills within his local territory and moved on to compete in the Regional finals of the state. Although he didn’t place in the state he made a lasting impact on the competition this year and looks to be one of the front runners for the 2008-2009 school year. His ability to function well under pressure and outstanding leadership skills will surely help him reach the peak of this competition next year. On behalf of ABF, Inc. we would like to say Outstanding Job D’Angelo. We are delighted to have you as a valued member of our team! If you would like to find out more information on HOSA, please visit their website at: www.hosa.org
